Book Cover Cartoon

A few weeks ago friend, writer and fellow blogger VallyP asked me if I would like to make the cover for her latest book ‘How to Breed Sheep, Geese and English Eccentrics’. Being very excited about the idea of seeing some of my cartoons on a real book I naturally said yes and can now share the result with you:

“When Maisie Peterson leaves university without a job to go to, she decides to help her mother save her large and impractical country property in the wilds of rural Dorset. Ma is just a tad eccentric, though, and Maisie has no clue about farming. Her efforts are thwarted at quite a few turn by a flock of willful sheep, a dotty aunt, a charming but ineffective boyfriend and a swarthy, but highly desirable agricultural auctioneer.”

The even more exciting news is the book is now available for order. It can be ordered online from by clicking here. You can also purchase the ebook version from the same site by clicking here or from Amazon by clicking here or here.

And if you would like to have your own Invading Holland style cartoon or design just send me an email for more details at:

I still get excited when I see this Stu! I’ve had lots of people say they love it :-)

The Ram looks evil. I love it. I have placed my order.

  3. Living in a fairly rural area of France, in which breeding is talked about in the frankest terms, I literally laughed out loud when I saw the hybrid goat-cow. (Would that be a coat or a gow?)
